MINDFUL MOTHERHOOD

During the pandemic, I met a wonderful Japanese friend, , who introduced me to a parenting approach that I truly learned to embrace — mindful parenting.

At that time, I was already falling in love with mindfulness, so combining it with parenting felt like such a beautiful and meaningful journey. In today’s fast-paced world, parents often carry so much stress and pressure that we unknowingly live in “fight or flight” mode. And when that happens, it can affect the way we respond, connect, and nurture our children.
Because of this, I organized a 6-week Mindful Parenting session to help parents better understand and practice this kind of parenting. The sessions are still uploaded on my YouTube channel, and I’m grateful that these conversations continue to inspire parents even today.
Mindful parenting teaches us to become more present, aware, patient, and compassionate — not only with our children, but also with ourselves. It reminds us that parenting is not about perfection, but about intentional love, listening, understanding, and growing together as a family.
There are actually books and studies about mindful parenting, and what I love most is that these practices can truly be developed little by little, day by day. ✨
