Motherhood

I got married in 2015, and in 2016, we welcomed our first child—a beautiful baby girl we named Zephrine. Her name means “a gentle breeze,” and we chose it because she became the wind beneath our wings. Her presence reminds me of life’s gentleness and the importance of kindness. Zephrine is a sweet soul and a fiercely protective sister to her little brother, Zayn.

Zayn was born during the pandemic, a time of uncertainty and fear. His name means “beauty and grace,” which perfectly captures what he brought into our lives—hope, joy, and a reminder that even in the hardest times, life remains beautiful. Through him, we were reminded that with grace, we can overcome anything.

I absolutely love being a mother—it’s the most fulfilling and exciting role I’ve ever had. Motherhood has taught me so much:

  1. To prioritize my health so I can be present and strong for my family—this is why I stay active and exercise regularly.

  2. To work hard so I can provide not only for their needs but also for their learning and growth.

  3. That continuous learning is essential, so I can mentor and guide my children with wisdom.

  4. That children learn best by example, so I do my best to overcome my own weaknesses and lead with actions, not just words.

  5. That when I make mistakes, I can model humility and repair, teaching them resilience and accountability.

Motherhood is truly a beautiful journey—one that has stretched my heart, challenged me to grow, and filled our lives with love and meaning.
