Work

I began working in 2014 after returning from college in Hawaii to the Philippines. That same year, I accepted a role as Executive Secretary to the CEO of Prolook Sports (www.prolooksport.com). I was assigned to his partner factory located in Pampanga. Prolook Sports specializes in manufacturing athletic uniforms, and through its subsidiaries, we also serve other popular apparel lines.

What started as a secretarial role quickly evolved. I was given opportunities to contribute in the logistics department, and as the company grew and expanded its operations with additional partner factories in Pampanga, the need to establish a tech arm became clear. I was entrusted with the challenge of founding a technology company to support this growth—and that’s how Qstrike Innovations was born.

Starting with a small team of graphic artists and web developers, Qstrike Innovations has since grown to over 300 employees. Today, I focus on leading the technology side of Prolook’s operations while working closely with its seven partner factories around the globe.

One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned is that it’s okay to start small. I chose Prolook over larger companies in Manila because I believed in the CEO’s vision. Back then, our office was surrounded by tall grass and had little to show on the surface—but we had big dreams. Committing to that vision, staying resilient, and doing my best to support our strategies have brought us to where we are today.
